After a longish journey up from Wellington, i arrived at Rotorua and immediatley decided i needed a spa..luckily there were plenty so i headed down to the Polynesian Spa and soaked myself in the pools for a couple of hours whilst taking in the gorgeous surrounding scenery. After that i headed back to the hostel and took a shower and had a quiet night in before waking up the next day to go zorbing. Zorbing is were you and whoever else (upto 3 per ball) are put into a huge inflatable ball and rolled down a hill, with water optional. I went with Ian and Pete and we had so much fun! We were just sliding round, over the top of each other, a huuuuge head spin, only Kiwis could've invented the idea.
On the night i went to a Maori cultural show where we saw dancing and singing and glowworms and had dinner. It was fantastic to see, and the costumes were so realistic, tattoos on their faces, small skirts etc, really cool to see and watch. The dinner was fantastic too, lots of creamy potatoes and meat, cooked the traditional way (hangi). I met some people at the dinner too, and went out with them, had a fantastic night out, a lovely last proper night out in NZ, i'm definitley going to miss it!
The day after i travelled to Auckland, stayed with Mary and then the next day after a coffee and relaxing, headed of to the airport to catch my flight to LA. Cant wait!!!

Super cool! I've always wanted to pretend I was a Hamster rolling around outside in a ball.
