“Great food! - neighborhood restaurant” |
A family member who had spent some time in Rome recommended this cute out the way restaurant to us to try while we were there.
The restaurant is off the beaten path but is very conveniently located behind the Pantheon and we noticed it was mainly frequented by locals. There were also two family parties taking place, very Italian!
As suggested, we asked them to bring their choices of what was especially good that night for us to try. We were not disappointed. The fresh seafood was fabulous and their tiramisu was the best I've ever had. It just melted in my mouth.
They have a very friendly, helpful staff though most everything was spoken in Italian. If you're uncomfortable, take your Italian food dictionary....
I will highly recommend this little restaurant to any of my friends who visit Rome.
