I had two productive days looking for properties, one day with the Canadian Real estate agent the the next day with a 50 year old california surfer/sailer that ended up in San Juan Del Sur 10 years ago when he was sailing from the states. We drove through roads that make Saskatchewan back roads look like the autobahn, considering the rainy season has just ended the roads are rutted up with huge pot holes and are only graded when the rain stops. Also were held up following farmers with oxen and carrage . A four wheel drive is a must. We trekked through the mud to get to some beaches and properties inland it was great there are some beutiful spots, constructions is just startingso it is a good time to look. The GPS unit that Jostens Sask bought me has come in handy navigating my way around. After the exploring I was droped of in Rivas which is not a tourist town by any sense but had to stay over night to catch the bus to San Jose, I swear I was the only Gringo in town, and the accomadations were not the Hilton that's for sure. If any other travellers are reading I would suggest to Stay In San Juan Del Sur and Catch a taxi early in the morning if you are catching the Ticabus. Anyhow caght the bus in Rivas and made it safely back to San Jose. Shelly will arrive tommarow then the next day we willtake the 14 hour tica bus to Panama city can hardly wait" !!!

Take Care
