Nice hotel, view overlooking Mediterranean, near casino

The Mirabeau Hotel is in the first five floors of a thirty story building, the balance being luxury apartments. We were lucky enough to get a room on the fifth floor (#511) with a nice sea view and a generously sized private balcony.

The room itself was large compared to others on this trip and this one even had a real walk-in closet. The bathroom was a nice size and I had no complants.

The hotel offers free wireless internet, unfortunately we could only get it in the lobby but we were grateful for the access. The breakfast buffet was very good but was not included in the price of the room. Also, the cost to park a car is 21 euros per day. The hotel is close to the Grand Casino and with the Gold Card that the hotel gave us at check-in, we were able to gain free entrance there.

There are several reasonably priced restaurants just down the block from the hotel which the staff recommended when we asked for a casual restaurant nearby. The staff was helpful and seemed friendly. Compared to the prices of other hotels in Monte Carlo, this one is a value.
