When
arriving by train, walk down the main street towards the sea. Once you
get to the harborfront, turn right, walk under the arch and the red
building on the right is where the rooms are located. Go to the main
door and ring them, tell them you have a reservation and they'll buzz
you in. Walk up 3 floors (no lift) and look for their sign. You'll be
directed to the reception by the sign.

This hotel requires you
to leave your passport with them during your stay unless you really
need them. After checking in, we were taken to our room in the attic by
going up a narrow, spiral staircase. We were in room 4 and had a
private bath. This was the biggest bathroom we'd had in Italy so far.
The shower was bigger as well. There was plenty of hot water and great
water pressure. Most of the other rooms require sharing a bathroom.
There was a small bathroom next to our room for 2 rooms and we could
hear when people were in there. There was 2 small bathrooms next to
each other on the other end of the hall for 2 other rooms. I'm not sure
how the bathrooms were on the floor below, where reception is located.

We
had a small window with a view of the water, but you had to stand on
the small steps to see out. It was nice to hear the waves crashing at
night, however. There was a double bed, closet, and small desk and
chair in the room. There was also a slope on one side of the bed, but
we are both short, so a little ducking was no problem.

The bed
was very uncomfortable, but that was pretty common during our trip. We
ended up putting the down comforter underneath us to sleep on. We had
plenty of other covers to keep us warm. It was pretty cool at night in
Nov.

There is no breakfast included when staying here. There
is a bar in town that serves eggs or a couple of bars by the harbor to
grab your espresso or cappuccino and croissant.

I would
recommend this place to someone looking for a nice place close to the
harbor at a great price and doesn't mind climbing stairs.
