350327 5 Location 559756 <strong>The Aitutaki Lagoon Resort</strong> was formerly known as the Aitutaki Pearl Beach Resort and is the only Resort on the Island which is&nbsp;located on a private, secluded motu, called Akitua. This&nbsp;fact guarantees a prime location with a direct access to the stunning lagoon. There are unparalleled views across the lagoon and to the deserted motus in the distance. The staff was proffessional, friendly and helpful and the General Manager Marc and his wife tried to make the stay as pleasant as possible.&nbsp;We stayed&nbsp;in a Garden Bungalow which was well equipped with DVD player, Coffee making facilities, a private sundeck and a comfortable bed.&nbsp;Due to the&nbsp;weather conditions the amazing Flying Boat Beach Bar &amp; Grill&nbsp;was not operating.&nbsp;It must be tremendous to watch the sunset over the lagoon, have a chat with friends and a beach BBQ at this sublime spot. Unfortunately we could not experience it. The main Restaurant Bounty served&nbsp;a tropical breakfast in the mornings as well as&nbsp;lunch and dinner. There is a beach volleyball court and an activity center that rents free kayaks close to the beach.
