367374 3 Location 541553 Hostel Obispo was pretty decent for a hostel. It's been almost ten years since I last stayed at a hostel, so I'm unfamiliar with how they all compare. There are three parking spots behind the hostel, as well as plenty on the street. The hostel is located on a neighborhood street right in the downtown area, so don't expect the quiet of the countryside. The rooms were simply decorated. My room had 4 bunk beds, one of which had a double bed for the bottom bunk. There were blankets, sheetsacs and pillowcases provided. The hostel also had several large storage lockers for your luggage. There was one full bath, as well as a separate toilet and separate shower, and an additional sink/mirror in the common bathroom area. The innkeeper was very friendly and efficient. I left too early to sample, but there is coffee and pancake mix for your cooking pleasure every morning. The hostel closes at 10 pm, but when you check in the innkeeper gives you a code to enter the backdoor, so there really isn't a curfew.
