109253 5 Location 540163 Though I've lived in San Francisco for years, I rarely make it down to the wharf, Ghiradelli square or the like. But recently, showing some friends around town, I thought it would be a necessary (and fun?) thing to do, experiencing some of the sights and attractions that I've always assumed would be, uh...touristy I guess for locals like myself. I have to admit, I had more fun than I've had in a really long time. First off, the wax museum is a blast! I recommend it to anyone, tourist or not. Also, the Museum Mechanique was awesome, with displays and games and things that I've never seen. We even got the clam chowder in a bread bowl which, although a bit cliche, was pretty tasty.
