368657 5 Location 538349 Hotel Papillon is a deceptively large hotel with many rooms to accomodate all budgetsm, located on the Buda side of Budapest close to Margit Bridge. Because of its proximity to a) Mamuth Shopping Centre b) Margit Bridge c) Batthyány tér (metro) and d) bus/tram connections I think that it is one of the best situated hotels for those people wishing to be close to the city but not smack bang in it. The hotel staff are friendly and speak German, English and of course Hungarian! so you can try your best Hungarian with them, Hungarians LOVE people who have tried to learn a little of their language. The rooms are well presented, clean and quiet (most important!) There is a buffet style breakfast, cafe, and outside there is also a small & refreshing swimming pool in case you arrive in the heat of Summer (as we did!)
