The Windsor Hotel is a 5-storey post-colonial period piece, built in 1899 originally as a Turkish Bath, converted into a hotel in the 1920s and used as a British army officers club during the second world war; replete with character and characters and ancient wiring and plumbing.

I was able to confirm the stated price and make a reservation by email. When I first entered the room and opened the shutter and windows, the sounds from the street came pouring in: it's NYC in the middle east...
