The lobby is very elegant, with a different flower collection displayed each day.  There are several dining options - I think 6 restaurants, as well as a couple of pools.  I really enjoyed the gym, which, although small, is well-equipped and overlooks the Nile.  And you walk through the spa to get there.  I didn't get a chance to visit the spa - apparently everyone in Cairo goes there, so getting an appointment was pretty difficult. Maybe next time. The room was extremely comfortable.  Very nice linens and towels.  Bathrobe and slippers provided, as well as L'Occitane products!  The room has an ethernet connection for $9.99 per day, and a DVD player.  You can borrow DVDs from the concierge desk.  I ate the breakfast buffet several times and was satisfied with each meal.  I don't recommend ordering room service, as the food provided is quite disappointing.  My only complaint is the intrusive service.  Even with a Do Not Disturb sign on your door, they keep knocking until you personally tell them that you're taking a nap and would like your room cleaned later.
