373973 3 Location 532068 <p>The Ramon Inn is a medium size hotel located in a small desert town&nbsp;that was once used to house new immigrants. The hotel is 4 or 5 stories and has no elevators. This was a handicap considering their were a numbers of seniors in my travel group. One had to rely on hotel porters to carry very heavy suitcases to your room. </p><p>The lobby was attractive and provided nice views. There was also a large in-door pool which we did not have an opportunity to use.</p><p>My roommate and I shared a 2 bedroom flat with a small by serviceable kitchen and a sitting room with a television. The bedrooms were reminiscent of state college dormitories.</p><p>We had been told that the breakfast served at the Ramon Inn was stellar; unfortunately neither my roommate and I found it to be so. There were hot and cold buffet selections; the requisite Israeli salads of cucumber, parsley, humus &amp; tahini dressing, and multiple pastry options for dessert.
