375452 4 Location 534875 <p>The Oasis Beach Resort &amp; Spa is located on the Tajung Benoa Peninsula, which is an extension of the Nusa Dua stretch of beach in the southern part of Bali. Neighbouring Hotels include the Conrad Bali, Aston Bali and the Novotel&nbsp;Benoa Bali. &nbsp;Protected by an offshore reef the ocean here is relatively calm compared to other spots on the Bukit peninsula. The stretch of beach is rather small and local hawkers offer there services all over the place. Tanjung Benoa has established a reputation of being a watersport El Dorado and therefore many activities including Jet-Skiing, Parasailing and Banana-boat rides can be arranged from here. The beach here always seems to be crowded and noisy and therefore is not the ideal place for visitors seeking relaxation. </p><p>The Hotel combines modern, minimalist architecture with local elements eventhough many parts of the public areas almost seem unfinished with large concrete surfaces. The hotel operates two restaurants. One is located on the rooftop and offers views to either side of the peninsula as well as across the ocean to Nusa Penida. Unfortunately this restaurant was closed during our stay in April 2006. The rooms were clean and well equipped. One highlight is a 70 meter rectangular pool from where the ocean can be seen. The Hotel operates a Spa, whose quality I would characterize as average. Alltogether the Oasis Beach Resort &amp; Spa provides an excellent value for money as Standard Room Rates are around USD 50 per room/night including breakfast. Outside the hotel are several local Restaurants and Bars as well as small shops and travel agencies.
