364347 2 Location 514307 HELL is a franchise pizza chain that first began in early 1996 next to Victoria University in Wellington. There are 63 HELL holes aroung the country yet we had never had a pizza from one. So Invercargill became our opportunity. The cafe was located next to the backpackers and it was open on Waitangi Day. The pizza was fine, but a bit too cheesy, but it was very fancy cheese. After eating the pizza, we wanted to wash up - oh wait isn't the whole point of pizza to eat mass quantities of cheese? As a side note the Hell Pizza company has some very aggressive advertising that seems to offend some folks (lots of references to hell of course and the website pretty much gives you the finger when you are trying to find information), but it seems to work. Trying to target the "young people" I suppose.
