<p> Breezes Costa Do Sauipe is an all inclusive resort which is fast becoming one of the major tourism destinations in Latin America from which fisherman used to be the sole residents. The hotel is in the state of Bahia, in the Northeast of Brazil and about 44 miles from Salvador International Airport. The whole complex has been built right next to the beach area along with a small town just down the road so any guest needs are pretty much met.</p><p> For accommodation, there are over 324 rooms and suites with air conditioning and contain a cable TV (a lot of Brazilian speaking channels but a couple with subtitles), direct dial telephone, CD player, coffee maker, hair dryer, ceiling fan, safety deposit box that does not require a key, alarm clock, iron and a mini fridge filled with water and soft drinks which is regularly topped up every day of the week without any charge. Each room has a balcony and for those on the ground floor get a patio instead. Around the hotel, you can find six food restaurants including one by the main pool outside which has its own bar (three are a la carte which include Japanese, Italian and International), Jacuzzi, circus workshop, bicycles for afternoon rides, beauty salon, tennis court, nightclub, games room, aerobics room, gym, horse riding (was a great first time experience), golf and a few bars around the hotel including one in the main lobby. </p><p> My friends and I took advantage of most of the amenities including the Jacuzzi and massages they had to offer in the last few days so we were totally relaxed before heading back. The a la carte restaurants were good although we did miss out on the International restaurant as we found the buffet restaurant was more tempting with its big range of foods and flexibility with times! One thing that was great about the hotel was the food which is something I rarely say when going abroad. There were always plenty of meats, salads and sea food choices to make and they even do a cheeseburger if you ask them nicely. The main problem in the resort was that some of the staff only had basic language skills when it came to languages such as English (they are currently taking lessons each summer break to resolve this) so at times there was a language barrier but it was to be expected and my friends and I always worked around it just fine. For entertainment in the hotel when the staff is not performing, you can always go into town or hang around the bars and talk to the guests. As it gets close to midnight, the Hurricanes Disco opens up and you can party well into the early hours. Sometimes though I felt I might have over done it!</p>
