368306 5 Location 494653 Stayed at this hotel in the pretty party capital of the French Riveira - Juan les Pins. The stay was as pleasant at it could be. Set facing a pleasant park and about 200 mts from the sea front, this hotel is very very charming.There are good restaurants closeby. It has its own character with an ancient glass box elevator which takes you up to the rooms which are spread on 6 floors. most of the rooms look out on the sea and have a step out small balcony. The ground floor has a reading lounge and a spacious bar which morphs into a breakfast room onto the right. This opens out into a beautiful courtyard which i am sure must be a pleasant place to pass sunny afternoons during other months than December when i was there! The hotel also has its own open air swimming pool. The rooms are very large with extremely good linen and very well equipped with ameneties such as the mini bar and spacious wardrobes. The bathrooms are a delight. Large bathtubs and a shower cubicle. The ameneties are generous and of high quality placed on well lit counters. The towels and bathrobes are of excellent quality. The breakfast spread is great. The service is attentive and pleasant. ( they did not have a cook/chef on hand when we wanted to catch a bite in the afternoon, but maybe thats because most hotels in the riviera work with skeleton staff during the off season). The hotel is pricey but well worth the money you spend on it if you are looking for a quality place to stay in and yet want the service to be personalised.
