Many of the premiere British artists alive today have work housed here including Susan Hiller, Sarah Lucas, Damien Hirsh, Tracy Emin, Cornelia Parker, Martin Parr, and many others...as well as works by non-British artists Olafur Eliasson, Rebecca Horn, Joseph Beuys, and Ann Hamilton. The Turbine Hall is a perfect setting for installations of massive size and proportion, the location of the museum on the Thames is perfect for views of Saint Pauls and the Millennium Bridge, and the bookstore has the best selection of art books around. A must-visit for anyone living in or traveling to London.
