80044 5 Location 488261 <p>Yes, this was my second time at the Rock &amp; Roll Hall of Fame and I loved it just as much as I did before.&nbsp; I don't think you necessarily have to be a rock and roll fan to enjoy it, but I am a huge fan of music in general and especially rock and roll, so it helps.&nbsp; What I love about the museum is that it shows how interconnected rock and roll is to other types of music.&nbsp; That connection to folk, country, and blues is woven into the fabric of the museum.&nbsp; My favorite quote from one of the movies that I watched is when Tom Petty said that rock and roll was the "bastard child" of music.&nbsp; I agree, and that is its appeal.&nbsp; There was a small Roy Orbison exhibit there when I went, when I walked in I realized there is an amazing energy around a lot of the items contained in the museum.&nbsp; I don't know why I felt it during that exhibit, I've never been a huge Roy Orbison fan, but I did.&nbsp; You realize that every piece of clothing or guitar, or whatever you're looking at, probably has a million stories attached to it.&nbsp; When you gather all of those stories into one place and at one time, it's hard not to get goosebumps when you think about it.&nbsp; If you're a music fan, this museum should be on your 'must visit' list.</p> 2006-05-30T01:38:14-07:00 816513036 2006-05-13T17:00:00-07:00 0 -9223372036854775790 193857 1516835 80044 0 190576 0.158318139975649 2006-05-12T17:00:00-07:00 Published 100.0 2006-05-30T22:27:45-07:00 92683 0
