354107 4 Location 493758 <p>I really enjoyed staying in a treehouse above the river kwai and showering straight into the river. it was a new experience and a popular hotel, though it was a torturous walk to find it from Kanchanaburi station in the midday heat - its a shorter walk if you get off at the stop just before the bridge.&nbsp; The staff were awesome and the food wasnt bad and available most of the day. Excellent massage parlours nearby and internet facilities. Expect to get bitten by mozzies if you arent careful with the spray. Only fan so its a bit of a sticky night and the matresses are permanently damp...shower has no cold water.
