358027 4 Location 477586 Simon, Vanessa and Alisa went to check out the Crocodile Farm which had turned into a zoo with tour guides.  We took two busses from the beach to get there. It cost $17 dollars per adult and was free for Simon since he was under 5 years old.  We bought some food to feed the animals and waited for our tour guide.  His name was Daniel and he took us to meet the makaw, parrot, baby crocodiles (both river and swamp), snakes, iguana, turtles, some strange animal from Peru, big crocodiles, deer, monkeys, racoon/badger like animals, and a baby leapord.  It was a very interesting tour.  Simon was very brave and gentle and held snakes and crocodiles, and fed the deer and monkeys. (see photos). We learned that smaller venemous snakes are actually more dangerous than bigger ones, because when bigger ones bite they release only a portion of their venom but the baby ones release all of theirs!  After the tour it began to downpour.  We waited by the side of the road to catch our bus, which passed by us 2 times without stopping, so we decided to take a taxi...which did not stop for us either!!!
