385133 4 Location 474558 <p>This unique restaurant on one of the three main streets that make up the Santa Elena downtown must have been the inspiration for the Rainforest Cafe chain. It is dominated by a huge tree that grows right through the center of the two level restaurant. The tree is covered in vines and mossy growth. The only thing missing is a downpour of rain every 30 minutes to capture the complete rainforest experience. </p><p>The service here is relatively good and certainly lively. The food is slightly above average and leans toward the healthy side, with many vegetarian/organic options.
