The name of this spa is Lullaby and it definitely made me want to go to sleep, and that's a good thing! The spa is located in the new Life Center building very near the Suan Lam night bazaar. You can take the metro and it will let you off right in front of the building.

The Life Center building is filled with all sorts of shops and services mostly related to health and well being. Lullaby is on the second floor tucked away in a quiet corner. You will be greeted by very friendly front desk staff who speak English and shown a very comfortable couch to sit on. Next you exchange your shoes for sandals and wait for your masseuse to come for you.

They offer oil massages (Swedish, aromatherapy and sports) as well as traditional Thai massages. So far we have been there twice and have had (between the two of us), the Swedish, sports, and Thai massages. For the oil based massages there is a shower in the massage room and you can shower before or after your treatment, or both if you want. The oil based massages are performed on traditional massage tables, but at times the therapist gets up on the table with you, allowing them to get lots of leverage for an excellent massage.

The Thai massage is done without oil. You are taken to a room with a mattress on the floor and given some lightweight cotton clothing to change into. For those that aren't familiar with a Thai massage, it is more of a pressing and stretching massage vs a rubbing. The stretching feels amazing!

After your treatment, there is a cup of hot tea and your shoes waiting for you at one of the couches. If you can wake yourself up enough after, you can shop in the Life Center or head across the street to the night bazaar.

We have been twice so far this trip, and will more than likely head back there again. The massages have been amazing and the price is great. If you find yourself in need of a good massage while in Bangkok, be sure to give Lullaby a try.
