34973 5 Location 470109 <p>This fantastically redone hotel was originally built in 1956, and was a hotspot for celebrities at that time. The Valley Ho will undoubtly continue the tradition into the new mellinium, providing a swanky hotel with "Old Hollywood" charm and modern extravanges. Every detail has been perfectly chosen to reflect its history in a new retro sytle from the pillows on the bed to the futurisic bar: Zuzu Lounge.&nbsp; Guests can lounge by the pool on overstuffed couches, or hang out in the modern rooms and suites. I spent my morning at the Valley Ho in my bathing suit eating a fantastic breakfast, served poolside. Two hours before that I was driving in pouring rain to the Oakland Airport, so just being outside was a treat.
