363175 5 Location 581280 <p>The pyramids are really impressive.  I didn't expect them to be - I thought it would be like many other familiar sights... not much different in person.  But the pyramids in person are big and old and just breathe history.  </p><p>We got tickets to go into one pyramid.  It was very cramped and stuffy and there really wasn't anything to see inside.  But it's something to say you've been inside a pyramid.</p><p>My favorite part of visiting the pyramids was the overlook.  It's a nice place to get pictures with all three of the Giza pyramids together.  But there's also people selling trinkets on blankets and there are camel rides.  So I rode a camel.  It was great!  When you're looking toward the desert, all you can see are pyramids and camels.  It's easy to imagine that that is exactly how it's looked for thousands of years.</p> 2006-03-06T13:00:51-08:00 163577859 2005-05-22T17:00:00-07:00 0 -9223372036854775790 177122 1053132 363175 0 148089 0.114708385780234 2005-05-19T17:00:00-07:00 Published 100.0 2006-03-06T13:06:49-08:00 88993 0
