384308 3 Location 476870 This walk has one of the more interesting beginnings going through a very dark long tunnel and opening out onto a swing bridge across the Arnold River. From there it requires good hiking boots and watching your feet carefully to follow the narrow, steep, slippery track up the hill. Plunged in the bush and steadily climbing you are surrounded by native vegatation. The track is well marked though it appeared that it is not tramped all that often. The train guide alluded to a location on the track where you would be able to see (simultaneously) the Arnold River and the valley, possibly somewhere above the tree line, possibly 1 1/2 hours down the track. We did reach a ridgetop with a great view of the valley, but no river in sight and continued on into the trees.
