Maritim Hotel Berlin Review
Theo Beack's review
Very good hotel, with very neat and comfortable rooms
From Business Trip to Berlin, January 2006 in Berlin, Germany on Jan 14 '06
Since I'm a business traveller I see way too many hotel rooms. What I liked about this hotel is the fact that the hotel room was very quiet. The room was also very neat. I especially liked the bathroom, with it's floor warmer. The bathroom was tiled in marble, so the the floor warmer helped to heat the marble floor to a comfortable temperature.
I really enjoy good showers and this in too many instances are the showe heads too low for me to have a comfortable shower. The shower head in the bathroom was adjustable, giving me more than enough room. The water temperature and pressure was ample, making for a good shower experience, which is important for a good travel experience.

One bad thing is that the water bottles in the hotel room was much too expense. My suggestion would be guy water in one of the shops close to the hotel and bring it up to your room. It will save you a lot of money.
The hotel also has an awesome breakfast spread. One of th best I have ever encountered. Even though jetlagged, I never missed a single breaskfast.
Overall I had a pleasant stay in the hotel.
The hotel is within walking distance of the Brandenberg Gate, the Reichstag, the Potsdamer Platz, and much more. I unfortunately didn't have much time to tour the city, since this was a business trip after all.
