181288 4 Location 464949 The Luxor is a fantastic choice of hotels in Vegas. We got a great deal by going through their website and paid less than half of what we would have paid at most other hotels. The location is far down the south end of the strip, but there is a tram that runs to Mandalay Bay and over to Excalibur. The rooms in the towers are large, nicely appointed with 2 separate showers (one with a bath and shower.) The pool area is gorgeous with 4 pools, palm trees and "egyptian" statuary. The attractions level is geared more for children than adults, but "Tut's Tomb" was interesting.
