<body>I went to Stanley Park the next day with my friend Grace to partake in the Terry Fox run. But it rained that day AND my friend was so very late! She thought the event was to take place the next Sunday. DUH. Oh well. I didn't feel like running in the rain anyway. So we went to the event, bought a T-shirt for charity (they only had 2 shirts left and it was both in XL) and walked around Stanley Park. After walking for almost an hour while taking pictures of the beautiful shore, we noticed that there was a free shuttle bus going around the park. So we took it and as soon as we sat down my trigger happy fingers did all the work. I took pictures of the English bay, Vancouver Rowing Club, the horsedrawn tours, Lion's gate, Prospect Point... etc. What a beautiful park!

Get this, my friend lived there for almost 2 years now and it was her first time to take the bus! The bus runs from June to September. And I was lucky that I still had the chance to take it. The free shuttle bus ride ended on Sept 24.

Since my friend and I didn't finish touring Stanley Park, I went to the Aquarium on Tuesday by myself. There was the Beluga whale show, the Dolphin show and a lesson about the creatures living in the Strait of Georgia. I missed the Salmon tour though. Among all the animals that I saw there, I liked the Beluga whale the most. It's humongous and the big white mass of flab is just so cute. :D I also went to take pictures of the totem poles after visiting the Aquarium. Very unique. .

Overall, Stanley park is one of the best parks that I've been to. There are numerous pedestrian paths that lead into the park so it's very accessible. Once in the park, you'll breath fresh air, see lots of green and lots of squirrels running around (they're so cute!) and families taking their kids for a walk. On a nice day, it's perfect to cycle or jog around the seawall.

Stanley Park is a definite must see when you're in Vancouver!</body>
