364698 4 Location 457878 <p>We arrived at the hotel and immediately was greeted by the bell men and was given a complementary margarita (which wasn't very good). We knew we may be early to check in, but decided to try. They said our room wasn't ready, so we went to have lunch at the Sunset Pool Bar. The food was pretty good. </p><p>We were able to go to our room after lunch. AMAZING suites there! Ours was on the 6th floor and had an awesome view of the pool and ocean. The room decor was very bright and colorful and hacienda-like. The maid service was excellent during our stay, we always came back to "towel creatures" on our bed. </p><p>The service at all the restaurants was usually very good. We were always greeted and sat very quickly. We didn't eat at their fine dining restaurant, but the other 2 had great menus with great variety. The Baja burgers there are excellent! The only thing I didn't like was the coffee and milk. The coffee was bitter and the milk tasted a little sour, it wasn't cold. We ordered room service one evening as my husband was sick one day. It took 45 min, which is expected when you order room service. The server was very nice and rolled in a table and set it up for us. He forgot my glass of wine and ran down to get it and was back very quickly with it. </p><p>We used their shopping bus one day to go into town. I highly recommend this if you do not have a car rental. Taxis cost $25 USD one way to San Lucas, which is about 25 minutes away. The bus costs $15 USD round trip per person. There are several departure and pick up times; you are picked up and dropped off at the mall in town. Pick up a schedule and reserve a spot at the concierge desk. </p><p>We spent a lot of time around the pool. There are lots of servers going around taking orders or bringing you things you need.
