Everything you want from a Youth Hostel

I really enjoyed staying in this hostel and would recommend to anyone.  It was clean, comfortable and in a lovely bohemien part of Santiago - Barrio Brazil.  When I was there they had BBQ and DVD nights, lots of comfy louning areas - STUNNING hot showers and helpful staff.

The only negatives I can say is that when I was there in 2004 they were renovating the upper floors - so it was noisy, but I'm sure thats finished by now.  Also the bunk beds squeeked like nothing i'd ever heard before.

Also you should be warned that it gets a fairly young party crowd who stay in drinking till about 12 then go out clubbing - this was perfect for me but some other guests didn't like it.
