383880 5 Location 451912 <p>We discovered Tanita Resort on a Saturday morning bike ride along the Ping River. It was like finding a secret treasure! Fascinating Lanna-style teak houses were surrounded by tall shade trees, tropical plants and flowers. We enjoyed opening the many wooden shutters and folding doors to look out on the bright greenness, like colorful pictures on every wall. The atmosphere was romantic and quiet - uniquely Thai. All the houses looked onto to the tropical swimming pool with a little waterfall flowing into it. Our children enjoyed it a lot. The beds were comfortable, the showers were hot, and the service was friendly and gracious.
