Located directly across from Caesar's Palace, the Flamingo retains much of its old-school Vegas charm if you're looking for something more low-key. And in addition to its great location on the Strip, the Flamingo is affordably priced for the budget traveler: we took advantage of the hotel's online "Hot Deals" and scored a mid-week stay for only $60 a night. While the hotel could work on providing better restaurant and bar options, the lovely wildlife habitat (free) and waterfall pool (one of the best in Vegas) are worth the stay.
