This is it, with more than 250 animals that survived two major hurricanes in one year’s time. Jenifer Voliva of Morrilton, Ark., said “We had a wonderful time while visiting the zoo. It was as great as I hoped it would be. It was a down home zoo that is taken care of well.” The Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo is open everyday except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Day. It cost $8.80 for ages 12 and up; $6.60 for children under 12 to two, two and under get in free.
