374742 4 Location 448387 <p>We booked our flights in advance through a travel agency, but you can also book directly, I believe. The flight isn't cheap (I'm not sure I would want it to be) if you're on a backpacker's budget, but you can probably find a half-hour trip for about 60 USD. There are much longer flights, but I'm not sure it's needed. </p><p>The good advice I got from my guide was to make sure you see the lines instead of trying to photograph them. They are a bit hard to find through the viewfinder, and you could miss them entirely. </p><p>The flight is a cool thing to do, but it does kind of eat your entire day. The flights change times drastically because of weather conditions. It always clears up and never rains, so you will get to fly, but it could be later than you had hoped. We had an 11 a.m. flight, but didn't take off until around 2 p.m. </p><p>If you are on a tight budget, you can see a couple of the lines (the hands and the tree) from a viewing tower located off the highway.
