2470 3 Location 542937 <p>This is a performance and exhibition complex near the Ikebukuro train station. Its exterior and interior are rather strikingly modern and inviting. It hosts a number of exhibitions, concerts, and theatrical performances at any time.</p><p>I was disappointed to find out that no information is available in English, even as simple as the schedule of events. And the lady in information booth didn’t speak English! It was quite a feat to find and hire such and employee as pretty much everybody I met in Tokyo speaks at least basic English. In contrast, a colorful plaque in front of the building listed prohibited behaviors in English.</p><p>I realize that this most likely was not an intended effect, yet once again I felt treated like a barbarian in Tokyo.
