<p>Diving here is cheap. Really cheap. And that makes it good if you need a dive certification of any type. But the diving isn't great. In fact, its low quality. Now I've definitely dove some of the best spots the world has to offer, so maybe I'm more biased than most. I remember liking Koh Tao better 7 yrs ago - and before I dove so many beautiful spots. But now that I know better, I'd say - only come here if you want to get a cert and want a cool island to party on while you do. If you are coming here just to fun dive... I can recco better places.</p><p>UPDATED: I wrote this review after the first 2 days of diving. However, since then I have dove add'l days and one of the dives was ridiculously good! Sharks swam right up to us... right up! Check the pics that I took if you want proof! I also had numerous dives with lots of squid, a turtle and plenty of rays. I've upgraded the quality of Koh Tao. I think I was just crabby the first few days because of my back. When you add in the cool people you meet along with the price, Koh Tao is a good if not great place to dive.</p>
