Bo Bo Hotel is a large house of the early 20th century situated in Palermo Soho, a boutique property and restaurant that caters to overachievers seeking urban cool, funky décor and a laid-back atmosphere, which emerges as a new concept for the bohemian and bourgeois middle class setting in Buenos Aires. Conde Nast Traveler magazine has named this 1920's mansion turned hip Boutique Hotel as one of the year's must stay accommodations. Again it was noted in the Global &amp; Mail in January 2006 as a hip hotel in BA. All the rooms are said to be swathed in bold colours and show thoughtfulness in such extra touches as fresh floral arrangements, fluffy bathrobes and high-speed wireless Internet connections. <p>The restaurant is well worth visiting, even for non-guests. Amid sleek, minimalist surroundings, it serves up dishes that draw on Mediterranean, Argentine and Asian influences. In typical Argentine fashion, we dined late one evening on philo pastry stuffed with sirloin medallions, tomato, manchego cheese and onion and rib-eye steak with garlic, olive and shallot sauce. Even washing it all down with a fine Malbec from the Mendoza region, the dinner cost us just C$60.</p><p>The staff are all young (we are old),&nbsp;very friendly and helpful.
