352049 2 Location 505867 <p>So, looking for a more hostel type experience hoping to meet other travellers to get ideas where to go next, this was not it.&nbsp; The hostel it relatively close the bus station in Chinatown, which is convenient.&nbsp; After climbing up the steep stairs to the reception, I was taken to my room.&nbsp; The good news is I guess that I had a window (one that actually faced outdoors as opposed to a hallway) and a balcony (not that you wanted to use it), A/C that only ran from I think 7pm to 7am.&nbsp; The bad news is that the room was pretty smelly and quite an uncomfortable creaky bed.&nbsp; The shared bathrooms, just two for I think at least 20 rooms where adequate but all the way down the other end of the hall from my room at the back of the building.</p><p>I would have considered leaving (and decided on only staying 2 nights instead of 3) but it sounded like the hostels were pretty full due to a fire at the Red Dragon Hostel just down the road, so everyone in that hostel had to relocate.&nbsp; So far this was the worst place I had stayed at.</p><p>Approx price for a&nbsp;double room - $12.00 (couldn't get a single bed).&nbsp;<br /></p> 2007-09-02T17:01:30-07:00 1228931073 2007-08-20T17:00:00-07:00 0 16 138943 5452121 352049 0 142138 0.0 2007-08-18T17:00:00-07:00 Published 0.0 Backpacker Travellers Inn 2007-09-02T17:01:30-07:00 55018 0
