18675 5 Location 505495 K's House Kyoto was the best backpackers I have stayed in.  The staff were great, the room clean and tidy, and the facilities were perfect.  It is located just an 8 minute walk from Kyoto station, on a quiet side street, so sleeping is not a problem.  We stayed there for three nights and arranged everything in advance over the phone, no problems.  I would advise booking quite a bit in advance too as it's a very popular backpackers and books out well in advance.
