Marx tested his <em>Das Kapital</em> theories here; Lenin put his toe in the revolutionary waters here; even Oliver Cromwell came here, albeit as a corpse hanging upside-down in a cage.</p><p>It's no less lively today. For absolutely no money you can hear the theories of the weird and wacky: some fairly reasonable, although most involving aliens or religious figures or both. These are the fun ones. The people you might want to avoid are the hate-mongerers. These are&nbsp;the&nbsp;people who&nbsp;bang on&nbsp;about Muslims, or Christians, or homosexuals, then&nbsp;start screaming at&nbsp;someone in Speakers Corner who looks like 'the enemy'. Even I've been yelled at.</p><p>So stick with the fun speakers, and you'll have a great time.
