386066 5 Location 495412 <p>Packed full of&nbsp;vino, we ventured out for a&nbsp;big walk around Rome at night.</p><p>We had met some really cool Canadians at the hostel we were staying at, not that I can recall their names now- all I remember was that they introduced us to the meaning of a 'TUK'- those weird beanies with the hat flaps....and a nice Aussie from Kings Cross named Louise. Anyway, we all decided to go check out the Trevi Fountain.</p><p>It took us a while to walk to it, but wow, it was so worth it!</p><p>There's always heaps of people congregating around the fountain, but we got down the front to throw our euro in...as the legend goes, you throw a coin over your shoulder once and make a wish, twice to ensure your return to Rome.</p><p>Josh was a bit tipsy, and tried to throw his coin into the fountain, but missed- a sad sight indeed given he was within 2 metres of the water, and it flew wayward into the crowd. haha!!!</p><p>The fountain is beautiful...so much so that we returned to it the second night.
