89585 4 Location 488348 Mama's is on the third floor of a little building just off the Rynek in Krakow. It's a great location and easily accessible on foot from the stations. The rooms are a good size and nice and clean. There are four shared shower/toilet rooms and they are the nicest that I've had in a hostel this trip. Plenty of space to get dressed without getting everything wet. They provide a free washing machine and dryer for you to do washing. God clean clothes are so so good. Breakfast is provided but is nothing special but with a few extra bits and what they give you, you could toss together a pretty good meal. Free internet access with two computers and wifi as well. The kitchen is the biggest problem that I have with this hostel as there is not enough space and only two hotplates for all the guests. There is no oven, only a small microwave. The fridge is also not very large. If you are seriously wanting to self cater this is probably not the hostel for you. Noise from the street is a bit of a problem during the weekend nights but earplugs solve this. The hostel is packed with the usual collection of people on the beer tour of Europe but most are pretty good about coming in quietly and obeying the 11pm noise curfew. There is no lockout and you have keys to the door so you can come home as late as you like The staff at the main desk are really helpful and all speak good english. They have lots of information on transport and opening times of major attractions. The rooms can be a little cold in the mornings because they haven't turned all the heating on yet (even though it is only 3 degrees outside this morning). I'm sure that this is better once winter starts. Definitely not one for the mobility impaired as there are four flights of stairs to get up here and there is no lift.
