I was in search of little bungalows by the beach. This was about the cheapest I could find on Railay. Take a right after you get off the boat, to the east side. Take the path past the monkeys and follow the signs to the resort. They have a bar and restaurant. The resort is family operated - they seem really happy to have you there. Other backpackers were recommending it and were sad to leave!
