387274 5 Location 485266 <p><strong><u>I travelled with my elderly mother (80 years)</u></strong></p><p>When travelling with my mother I have to take into consideration her walking ability and stamina for hills. </p><p>Prague city is serviced by a very good and simple to use Metro system that came in extremely useful as our Hotel was some kilometres from the centre. A five minutes walk to the nearest Metro which took us straight to The Museum where we changed to the Green Line and headed for Malastranska directly below the castle. We climbed the steps up to the castle forecourt where we were given the most wonderful views over the rooftops of Prague.</p><p>A walk over the Charles Bridge we descended the steps into a small square where we enjoyed hot Glug Wein around the Christmas Tree. We walked towards the Old Town Square where a Christmas Market was held as well as an ice skating rink, in all very festive.</p><p>Fancy a Day Trip out of Prague?...........You must see Karlovey Vary, our favourite part of the trip.
