181288 4 Location 460454 <p>I stayed at the Luxor for my entire trip to Las Vegas.&nbsp; Lawrence and I found a good internet rate that included a free upgrade to a deluxe room and some bonuses on entertainment (2 for 1 IMax, 2 for 1 Buffet, etc.).&nbsp; I checked in on the Sunday mid-afternoon.&nbsp; Aside from a 30 minute wait just to check in, the hotel was quite nice.&nbsp;</p><p>My room was relatively new, in the East Tower.&nbsp; It was far away from the Casino, so although it was a bit of a walk to get there, I wasn't disturbed by the revelers downstairs.&nbsp;</p><p>All in all it was a good hotel for&nbsp;Las Vegas.&nbsp; Almost&nbsp;nothing is free: no kettle in the room, no free paper in the morning, no mini-bar to keep your drinks cold, etc.&nbsp; However, they had a decent sized television and high-speed internet access for a price ($10.99 US/24 hours)</p><p>It is at the extreme south end of the strip, so it's a walk if you want to go see the fountains at the Belagio, or the shops at Caesar's palace.&nbsp; There's a monorail, but it's faster to walk.&nbsp;</p><p>Since I don't mind a little exercise to save a little money, I would definitely go back to the Luxor.&nbsp;</p> 2006-04-23T08:49:14-07:00 816578561 2006-04-15T17:00:00-07:00 0 -9223372036854775792 131856 1297812 181288 0 252865 0.0277820617838256 2006-04-08T17:00:00-07:00 Published 25.0 A good value 2006-04-23T08:49:46-07:00 43456 0
