China`s holiday resort, Qingdao, is a nice little place, even if it is smoggy as hell. There`s a thing on the radio here that gives the air quality every day. It reminds me of the Fast Show sketch of the Spanish weather! Scorcio! every single day. I think that goes for the whole of China, every day it`s smoggio! It`s covered in it! It's in the throat, nose and it sticks black grease to clothing! Some photos that are of buildings in the distance couldn't even be seen properly it was that bad. Well.....

Tried some interesting food here; scorpion and deep fried whole crab with the shell on. The crab wasn't pleasant, deep fried to hell, the oil dripped everywhere when you bit into it. There were some other things on offer; we didn`t go for the fat grubs and milipedes that were there, or the huge black Tarantula, but the scorpion was surprisingly tasty. A bit like salty crisps.
