It was the coldest night ever, everyones tired this morning due to not sleeping. The sun soon comes up and its roasting hot & our blood is circulating again.
Our first hike is to Cathedral Gorge in The Bungle Bungles. Its a very rocky path through palms and greenery, very tropical looking. At the end is a small pool of water & a rounded opening of high cliffs, the echo goes on and on bouncing round the arc.
Next hike is down to Echidna Chasm, its a similar walk through palm trees to a canyon about 3ft wide which we walk through to the end where the rocks join, there are a few boulders perfectly round wedged in the gaps which are pretty cool.
We have lunch then start the really long bumpy drive back to Micks for the night. The Bungles were impressive but I'm sure as hell they ain't worth driving a day to see! Everyone's a bit miffed when we eventually get back to Micks. We have some goon & quickly cook dinner on his fire before hitting the swag around 11.
A big dog from somewhere came sniffing around our swags at night, luckily all I saw was Richie & Mick shooing something away & didn't find out what it was till morning.
