This hostel, just minutes from the beach was basic to say the least.  The reception lady (a middle aged Canadian woman i think) was very welcoming and friendly and gave us lots of good information about the town and where to go (an where not to go). However the hostel seemed a little dirty and the shared kitchen was so filthy I didn´t want to even use it.

On the positive side, they had free internet access, hot water, no bunk beds, hammocks and good communal areas which made it easy to meet other gringos, and nice and close to the beach.

The price was $80 pesos per night for a dorm room, which was good, until we found out the hotel next door you could get your own room with balcony and bathroom for the same price........oh well.
