The folks who happen upon this place are lucky.  I found out about it from a friend several years back and have been going back many times.  My last two stays included a long term stay at the Whispering Pines cottages on the Cape.  They are not right on the water but if you make a short hike through the maritime forest to the bay you will not be disappointed.  To see that view is a rare sight these days and as I type the place is changing as more and more houses are built for tourists to rent and retirees to move into.

The little camp park I once used is gone.  It is now a high dollar real estate development.  The state park there is still available but I've even heard it has been threatened by politicians who want to see it privatized.
