Cocktails on the eve a new academic year!

Also discovered a great little beach community
called Placencia in southern Belize (Tom make sure
to go there). It was there on the evening of Sunday 3rd
September, whilst chilling at a beach bar with
distinctly carribean flavour (reggae band/ rum
punch/uninhibited dancing etc) that we came to the
realisation that we didn't have to get up for school
the next morning! Perhaps the sweetest moment yet!!!

Emma and Flo see something the same way at last: Caye Caulkner did not fulfil my Caribbean Island dreams so we decided to move to a place called Placencia to the south. This place was a bit more like it, it was really chilled although it was all closing down for the low season. Luckily we hit the end of season parties. In the evening we were draw to the beach by the sound of a live Caribbean band and the smell of rum punch. We were just sat there soaking up the atmosphere and the rum when we realised we were supposed to be back a work in 3 hours time (GMT) huge grins crawled across our faces and the three cockroaches that were about to chase me around the room that night seemed a long way away........
